Description
Price exceeds the prior week's high, but reverses to close near the bottom of the range AND below the prior week's close on heavy volume.
Behavior Note: Sometimes range is very wide with price closing below multiple weeks' worth of closes.
What you need to know
Price Reversals are a sign of selling into strength and when combined with heavy volume, may mark a significant high in a stock.
